There are film nights… and then there are nights where the whole room sings.
On Saturday 2 May, Spotlight Theatre Company invites you to a special sing-along screening of Grease - a joyful, high-energy evening where the audience becomes part of the show.
This is not a traditional cinema experience. From the moment the lights go down, you’ll be encouraged to sing, cheer, laugh, and fully join in.
What is a sing-along screening?
If you’ve never been to one before, imagine this:
the film plays on the big screen
the lyrics appear on screen, so everyone can follow along
the audience sings together, creating a lively, shared atmosphere
It’s part film screening, part live event, and completely different from sitting quietly in a cinema.
What to expect on the night
We’ve designed the evening to be as fun and interactive as possible.
Every ticket includes a goodie bag of props, which you’ll use at key moments throughout the film. Expect flags, tissues (you may need them!), and a few surprises along the way. There will also be a 25-minute interval, giving you time to grab a drink, chat, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Dress up and join in!
Part of the fun is coming in costume.
Whether you’re a Pink Lady, a T-Bird, Sandy, Danny, or your own 1950s-inspired creation, fancy dress is strongly encouraged AND and there will be prizes for the best outfits.
Make a night of it
Doors open at 18:30, with the bar open before the screening and during the interval. We recommend arriving early to enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere before the film starts at 19:30. Salle des Fêtes, 17240 Clion-sur-Seugne.
