"Calendar Girls" is based on the true story of a group of ordinary women from a Yorkshire Women's Institute who achieved something extraordinary. When one of their husbands is diagnosed with leukaemia, the women band together to raise money for a local hospital by creating an unconventional fundraising calendar—posing nude while strategically hiding behind household items! The play, adapted by Tim Firth from the 2003 hit film, is a touching celebration of friendship, community, and the power of standing up for what you believe in, even if it means stepping out of your comfort zone (or your clothes!).
