Spotlight on Christmas: A Festive Singalong in Aid of Cancer Support France Ouest Aquitaine

The mulled wine is warming, the mince pies are baking, and Spotlight Theatre Company is in full voice — which can only mean one thing: Christmas is coming to Clam! And we need you to join in our singalong!

On Sunday 7 December 2025, Spotlight Theatre Company will present Spotlight on Christmas: A Festive Singalong, an afternoon of joyful songs, laughter, and community spirit at the Clam Salle des Fêtes.

Doors open at 2:30pm, when guests will be greeted with a free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, before the festivities begin at 3:00pm. The event combines live readings by members of Spotlight Theatre Company as well as festive songs and carols for you to singalong to - songsheets provided!

✨ A Christmas Celebration with Heart
The event isn’t just about raising the roof — it’s also about raising money for a good cause. €3 from every €10 ticket will be donated directly to Cancer Support France Ouest Aquitaine, which provides practical and emotional support to English-speaking people touched by cancer in the region.

Master of Ceremonies Glo Holland will guide audiences through a mix of music and merriment, including readings from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Pam Ayres’ witty verse, and the classic editorial “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus.” And of course, there will be plenty of chances to sing along to seasonal favourites — from White Christmas and Winter Wonderland to Hark the Herald Angels Sing and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

During the interval, guests can enjoy more refreshments and take part in a raffle featuring some fabulous prizes.
