We’re Starting Again — This Time Live

After our Christmas Singalong, something was obvious: people didn’t want it to be a one-off.

The room was full. The energy was strong. And although we used backing tracks, the appetite to sing together was clear.

So we’ve decided not to stop.

On 25 March, Spotlight Theatre Company launches a monthly English-language singalong at the Salle des Fêtes in Mosnac 17240 - and this time, it will be fully live, led and accompanied by our wonderful musical director.

That change matters.

Live accompaniment brings flexibility, pace and presence. It allows the evening to move naturally, to respond to the room, and to feel genuinely shared rather than simply followed.

These evenings are not choir rehearsals and not performances. There are no solos and no auditions. You won’t be put on the spot. You simply arrive, take your seat, and sing.

We’ll begin promptly at 19:00 (please arrive by 18:50 to be seated and ready). The session will run in two halves with a short interval, finishing at approximately 21:00.

Each session is €5. After your first visit, annual Spotlight membership (€15) is required for insurance and association purposes.

This is a monthly series. The intention is simple: gather regularly and enjoy singing together.
